Chris' mother first recognized her talent in preschool. Chris competed in Illinois state wide drawing contests in grade school. She continued to major in art throughout highschool. A demanding career in aviation led her to put the paintbrush down for many years. She picked up the brush again in 2007 and studied watercolor painting at North Lake College in Irving, Texas. Watercolor is now her media of choice. Chris is known for use of vivid colors and detail in her works. Chris' airline career allowed her to travel to many exotic locations that inspire her paintings. today.
